About the Fund

The Colonial Fund Scholarship was founded by a William Floyd High School alumnus in 2003. It was the founders' vision for TCFS to identify those graduating seniors at William Floyd who aspire to achieve extraordinary things in life, but whose financial situation threatens to end these dreams before they get started.

Every year TCFS selects a small group of seniors to participate in the program. There is no fixed scholarship amount, but rather TCFS works with students to understand what the ideal college destination would be, what the financial shortfall looks like, and how we can fill that hole. The program is dynamic and has no upside limit.
